EV Chargepoint Grants

EV Charge Point Grant for Renters or Flat Owners 

An electric vehicle charge point grant assists with the cost of installing an electric vehicle charge point at your property. 

You can get either £350 or 75% off the cost to buy and install a charge point, whichever amount is lower. 

Each financial year, you can get up to: 

• 200 grants for residential properties 
• 100 grants for commercial properties 

These can be across several properties and installations, or for one property. 

Eligibility 

• You own and live in a flat (this includes flats bought through the shared ownership scheme), or you rent a residential property 
• Your home has its own private off-street parking space 
• You own or lease an OZEV-approved electric vehicle 
• You have an eligible company vehicle 
• You are named by your employer as the primary user of an eligible electric vehicle 
• You have ordered an eligible electric vehicle
