⚡ Our next batch of EV chargers completed for Lancaster University including an accessibility bay.
We have completed many accessbility bays already for the university and applaud them for their inclusivity as (according to a survey by Disabled Motoring UK) astonishingly only 2.5% of car parks have accessible EV bays 😮

However, unlike the other accessibility bays, this one was a tad different.
To ensure PAS 1899:2022 and its comprehensive specifications for accessible EV charging, we needed to drop the grass verge and create a new footpath ensuring surrounding space and ground surface was not compromised. Of course, keeping to our usual high standards and all other requirements of PAS 1899:2022 ✅
💡 As engineers, we delight in new problems to solve and our “Groundsman Gary” rose to the challenge and showed his excellence as always!

👏 Well done Gary and team and hats off to Lancaster Uni for exemplifying what true inclusivity looks like. 🫶
